 TOP TECH TIPS AND TRICKS

Today I'm going to tell you ten things about computer and phones that you thought everybody knew, but it turns out they don't. Here is the life hacking tech tips and tricks for you..

TOP USEFUL TECH TIPS AND TRICKS:

1.On the web, if you want to scroll down the page, don't pick up the mouse and use the scroll bar to scroll down. That's waste of time. Do that only if you're paid.

Instead of this, hit the space bar. The space bar scrolls down each page one by one.

Hold down the Shift key to scroll back up again to the previous page.

So, use space bar to scroll down one page; It works in every browser, in every kind of computers.

2.When you're filling in one of these forms like your addresses, name and such boxes, use Tab key to jump from box to box to box. But when filling the pop-up menu where you put in your state?

Don't open the pop-up menu. That's a waste of calories. Type the first letter of your state over and over and over in the menu. So if you want California, go, C, C, C. If you want Alabama, go A, A, and you will jump right to that thing without even opening the pop-up menu.

3.Also on the web, when the text is too small in size, just hold down the Control key and press plus, plus, plus. You will make the text larger with each tap. Or press minus, minus, to get smaller again. It will Work on every computer, every web browser. If you're on the Mac, it might be Command key instead. Try this tech trick.

4.When you're typing on any mobile phone, don't bother in switching layouts to the punctuation layout to hit the period and then a space, then try to capitalize the next letter. Just press the space bar twice. The phone puts the period(DOT), the space, and the capital for you. Go space, space.

5. Also when it comes to mobile phones, on all phones, if you want to redial someone that you've dialed before, all you have to do is just tap the call button in the dialer, and it puts the last phone number into the box for you, and at that point you can hit call again to actually dial it. No need to go to the recent calls list if you're trying to make a call to somebody. Do try this and thank me later.

6.Most of you think of Google as something that lets you look up a web page, but it is also a dictionary. Just Type the word "define" and the word you want to know next. You don't even have to click enter or anything. It will show the definition you are looking for. It's also a complete FAA database. Just Type the name of the airlines and the flight. It will show you where the flight is, the gate, the terminal, how long until it lands. You don't need an app for this.

It's also helps in unit and currency conversion. Again, you don't have to click the results. Just type it into the box, and you can find your answer.

7.While we're talking about text, If you want to highlight a word, please don't waste your time dragging across it with the mouse like a newbie.

Just Double click the word. Also, don't delete the text what you've highlighted. You can just type over it to replace. Easy trick for you guys..

8.Shutter lag is the time between pressing the shutter button and the moment the camera actually capture. It is actually frustrating on any camera under $1,000.

That is because the camera needs time to calculate the focus and exposure correctly, but if you pre-focus with a half-press, and then pressing the button, there will be no shutter lag! You will get it every time.

9. Here's a cool trick that uses a full-screen slide down to power off your computer. Just Right-click on desktop and go down to New and select Shortcut in the empty field, enter the text given below there.

%windir%\System32\SlideToShutDown.exe

If you done with that click on next and then finish. And here's the new shortcut now when you double click on it just drag the bar all the way down to the bottom of your screen to power off your computer.
